This exciting new project is part of the work of the Bristol North West Foodbank Social Justice Hub in Avonmouth.  We're delighted to announce that more than £100k funding has been allocated to the Foodbank to build a new community woodworking workshop on the side of the existing Social Justice Hub.  Planning permission and Bristol Diocese planning approval has now been granted, and it is hoped that building works will begin at the end of March 2020.

The Foodbank is a charity run by churches in north west Bristol, helping people who are going through a period of crisis by giving them food packages. They support people of all faiths and none, and can also signpost clients to other sources of help, for example, advice services, health visitors, domestic abuse services, debt advice, etc.

Space4Makers will be a place to find friends, develop skills for life and work.  Our hope is to run both formal and informal training and groups based around making activities.

We're delighted to play an active part in supporting this great charity.  If you would like to find out more and how you can get involved visit their website: Bristol NW Foodbank
